Heather Junod
Associate Vice President, Annual Giving and Philanthropic Engagement
Heather Junod is the Associate Vice President, Annual Giving and Philanthropic Engagement at the UCF Foundation, Inc.
Her career in development began with the American Heart Association, where she was responsible for the overall management, development and administration of the Volusia/Flagler Division.
In 2007 she began serving as the development director for the Central Florida YMCA, where she directed and managed eight YMCA Family Centers in a $2.5 million Annual Support Scholarship campaign.
In 2009 she joined the advancement team at the UCF Foundation, where she designed and implemented a strategic development plan for the College of Community Innovation and Education. In 2012, Junod was asked to lead the annual giving program, which includes direct marketing, faculty and staff giving, student engagement and philanthropy, leadership annual giving and parent philanthropy.
Junod was promoted to Assistant Vice President of Annual Giving and Philanthropic Engagement in 2016. In this role she oversees a comprehensive annual giving program aimed at building the pipeline for major gifts and increasing participation from alumni and friends. In 2019, she was asked to lead the alumni engagement and annual giving teams in an interim capacity. In 2020, she assumed the role of associate director.
Junod earned a bachelor’s degree in health services administration from UCF and an MBA from Nova Southeastern University.
