Executive Director for Human Resources
JB Himmer has been in human resources with the University of Central Florida for 17 years, the past 13 years with the UCF Foundation. As Executive Director for Human Resources for the UCF Foundation, Himmer is responsible for defining and implementing training, recruiting, compensation, performance management, employee engagement, employee relations, workers compensation and benefits. Himmer has her SPHR and SHRM-SCP certifications.
Prior to joining UCF, she held human resources leadership positions in the medical and entertainment industries.
Himmer is a proud, first generation graduate of the University of Central Florida. She lives in Oviedo, Florida and is the mother of two children.
