Undergraduate juniors or seniors, or graduate-level students who are interested in learning more about the field of university advancement and nonprofit management have a unique opportunity to do so as a UCF Advancement Fellow.

Fellows work in direct partnership with frontline UCF fundraisers and are involved in all aspects of university advancement, including attending donor meetings, qualifying prospects, writing proposals and grant applications, learning about a highly sophisticated CRM system, and assisting with fundraising events.

“Entrepreneurial, self-motivated students, with a strong interest in nonprofit management and fundraising work are ideally suited for this role,” says Sean Farrell, director for advancement, Student Development and Academic Success, to whom the position will report.

“We anticipate many of our fellows will go on to hold high-impact positions,” he says, like Victoria Wright ’16 ’19MNM, an alumni engagement officer in the UCF College of Nursing, who participated in an advancement internship program several years ago” and benefitted from the mentorship, professional development, and executive interactions she experienced in it.
